The Case C-Club Story

Back in the winter of 1999 former Athletic Director Don Ford called some former athletes to start this club with the purpose of raising money for the athletic department and for Case Alumni to have a way to get together a few times a year to stay in touch.  Through the years there have been many men and women who have served on this committee.  In the past 20 plus years, this group has raised over $120,000.00 for the athletic department and another $25,000.00 in scholarships to the top senior male and female athletes at the Case High School.  This scholarship was named after the late Gene Veit, head football coach at Case for 29 years. Our major fundraiser is a golf outing and dinner at Ive’s Grove on the 3rd Friday in August.

In addition to the above-mentioned contributions to Case High School, the Alumni C- Club has:

  • Worked to get the football practice field named after former coach Gene Veit
  • Donated a beautiful granite rock and plaque to mark the practice field with coach Veit’s name and legend
  • Developed a Case High School “Wall of Fame” honoring former Case High School elite athletes.
  • Purchased two golf carts for the athletic trainers to use in the large outdoor practice field area of Case.

Currently the C- Club has over 1,300 members.  If you would like to become a member, click on “Join C-Club”
